The Food Nanny
1 ¼ cups All Purpose Flour
2 ½ cups of your choice of fresh fruit cleaned and rinsed.
Pre-heat oven to 400°.
Mix the softened butter, sugar, flour, milk and almond extract with mixer or food processor until it comes together. Spray tart pan lightly with vegetable oil.
Spread soft dough inside and up the sides of entire tart pan with fingers.
When cool enough to handle, push the bottom of the tart pan out of the ring. Slide onto a cooling rack. Let the tart cool completely.
While the tart cools, make the cream cheese topping. With an electric hand mixer, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, extract and cream until thick and creamy.
Prepare the fruit of choice and decorate the tart. A nice way is to do one row around in one kind of fruit, one in another, etc. Whatever combination you like or all the same fruit.
