Pecan Bars

Pecan Bars

Debbie brought these to a Christmas party. You won’t be disappointed.
They are fabulous with my Pecan Filling. xo
Crust:
- 2 Cups Kamut Flour
- 1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
- 1 Cup Butter
Pecan Filling:
- 1/3 Cup Butter
- 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1 Cup Light Corn Syrup
- 3 Eggs Slightly Beaten
- 1 1/4 tsp Vanilla
- 1/8 tsp French Salt
- 1 Cup Pecans Chopped
Crust

Blend the flour, powdered sugar and butter in a medium size bowl. Spray a
9x13 inch baking dish with cooking oil. Spread the crust mixture evenly into
the bottom of the dish with your fingers. Set aside.
Pecan Filling

1. Stir the butter until soft. Slowly add the brown sugar. Mix in the corn syrup,
eggs, vanilla and salt. Stir in the pecans. Pour onto the crust.

Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 min. - or until the filling is set. You may need
to cover with foil the last 10 min. if it starts to get too brown on top.
Cut into squares when cool.
